Why a 32 Inch TV is Big Enough for Me

We waited for long time with this purchase. Most of our friends have at least a 40 inch TV, most of them LCD. I don’t spend a lot of time in front of the television and my wife who watches a lot of shows while playing Scrabble or other word games on the computer didn’t really care how big the screen was.

My kids have a game room setup in the basement where they can listen to loud music and play Xbox with surround sound or watch movies with their friends from Netflix on a HD TV. So they didn’t really care too much about what we have in the living room.

Finally we decided to replace the existing TV anyway. We wanted to put the new TV on an antique furniture. We wanted to get a something which looks elegant but still doesn’t dominate the room and looks good on that antique furniture.

We decided that we don’t need anything bigger than 32 inches. We didn’t want to have a TV with a room we wanted a room with a TV which belongs there.

After reading reviews we decided to get a 32 inch LG LED TV. We ended up getting one with Internet connectivity so we could watch Netflix. The kids also watch YouTube and there are Widgets to check the news and weather from Yahoo too.

We have a wireless connection via a wireless adapter which you have to buy separate. To setup the wireless connection was very simple by pressing a button on the wireless adapter.

Having Netflix is a great feature. Finally we can watch movies together again. I just watched “Last Chance Harvey” with my wife sipping on a glass of zinfandel and really enjoyed it (the zinfandel too).
